District Championships

These championships are an individual contest to match your ability against every swimmer in the district in your age group and your preferred stroke.  The minimum distance is 50 metres but there are also events in 100, 200 and 400 metres.  If we have enough Mansfield swimmers entered then we can also enter a club relay team.

You may enter in all or any stroke in your age group and/or open age group.  Medals are awarded to the first three place-getters and points are added for each swim to give you a chance at becoming the male or female champion in the district.  Please note that this event is open to ALL club members.  

Entries for these championships have to be submitted online via the Swim Central login.  

We encourage all swimmers to participate.  These championships are held in February, at the Seymour outdoor 50m pool.  There will be plenty of time for improvement between entry deadlines and the actual swim, so please consider entering.  

Following the District Championships a District 22 team is selected to compete at the Country Inter District Championships  in Melbourne.  See event timetable for more details.
