Membership Information

Mansfield Swimming Club is affiliated with Swimming Victoria and Masters Swimming Victoria.  This means that all financial members are covered by insurance during both training and competition. 
The annual membership fee consists of a Swimming Victoria / Masters Swimming Victoria component as well as a Mansfield Swimming Club component.  If fees are a hardship please contact us to discuss a payment plan.

REGISTRATION COSTS

There are two separate fees for Mansfield Swimming Club members:

1. Swimming Victoria Membership
   Covers Swimming Victoria and Swimming Australia registration and insurance.
2. Mansfield Swimming Club Fees
   Covers coaching, lane hire and some club competition costs.

⚠️ Pool entry fees are NOT included in either membership.
Because these are managed by different organisations, they are paid separately.

How Payment Works
Step 1 – Swimming Victoria Membership
Paid online through your Swim Central account.
Step 2 – Mansfield Swimming Club Fees
Paid directly to the club after receiving an invoice.
Invoices may be split into two payments if needed.

PART 1 – Swimming Victoria Membership(Valid 1 July – 30 June )
⚠️ Important:
Before purchasing a Swimming Victoria membership, all swimmers must complete the club registration form below, including returning members.

As the club has limited lane space, we must confirm availability in the appropriate squad before registrations are finalised.

Swimmer Membership – Summer Club
Eligible to:

• Train with club squads
• Participate in club activities
• Compete in Swimming Victoria events

This membership category is designed specifically for summer pool clubs, even if swimmers train or compete during the off-season.

Dry Member
Required for:

• Parents/guardians of swimmers under 18
• Club volunteers
• Technical officials
• Committee members
• Life members

⚠️ All swimmers aged 17 and under must have a parent or guardian registered as a Dry Member for insurance purposes.

Swimming Victoria Family Discounts
A family discount applies when multiple memberships are purchased in one transaction in Swim Central.
3 members - 5%
4 members - 7.5%
5+ members- 10%
(Dry Members can be included in these totals.)

PART 2 – Mansfield Swimming Club Fees
(Due mid-December)
These fees cover:

• Coaching
• Lane hire
• Training sessions
• Breakfast Club for morning swimmers
• Some club competition costs

Squad Levels
Bronze Squad
Up to 2 hours per week
Cost: TBC

Silver Squad
Up to 3 hours per week
Cost: TBC

Gold Squad (by invitation)
More than 3 hours per week
Cost: TBC

Note: Holiday squad programs have an additional cost.
All registered swimmers are eligible to enter Swimming Victoria meets (competition entry fees may apply).

2 children - 5%
3 children - 10%
4 children- 25%

Swimmers will be allocated to squads based on ability, age and overall squad composition.
