Membership Information

Mansfield Swimming Club is affiliated with Swimming Victoria and Masters Swimming Victoria.  This means that all financial members are covered by insurance during both training and competition. 
The annual membership fee consists of a Swimming Victoria / Masters Swimming Victoria component as well as a Mansfield Swimming Club component.  If fees are a hardship please contact us to discuss a payment plan. 
REGISTRATION COSTS
There are two parts to the fees that are charged for our members - Swimming Victoria (which includes insurance and Swimming Australia fees) and Mansfield Swim Club (which includes coaching fees, pool hire and some competition entry fees).  Pool entry fees ARE NOT included in registration fees.

Fees are paid in two separate methods - the Swim Vic fee will be paid online via your Swim Central account.  An invoice will be sent from our club to pay the Mansfield Swim Club portion of the fee directly to us.  This invoice can be split into two to make it easier.

PART 1 - SWIMMING VICTORIA FEES (valid 1st July 2025 - 30th June 2026)

NOTE - you MUST complete the form (below) before you can purchase your Swimming Victoria membership (including returning members).  As our club is currently at capacity we need to confirm that we have space for you in the relevant squad.

Swimmer (all age groups) - Summer club membership level.  
  • Eligible to participate in squad and club training and activities as well as experience all levels of competition. 
  • This is special membership allocated to summer pool clubs (even if your swimmer trains / competes all year)
  • $103.79
Dry Member
  • Membership applies to parents & guardians of swimmers under 18 years, Technical Officials, Club & District committee members and Life Members.
  • $16.64
ALL swimmers 17 years and under MUST have a parent / guardian registered as a Dry Member.  All committee members / volunteers within the club must also be registered in this way to cover insurance.

NOTE - a family discount for the Swimming Victoria portion of fees is applicable when all family members purchase a membership in one transaction on Swim Central.

Details of the discount are below.
  • 5% discount when 3 family members sign up to any Victorian membership at the same time. This includes a Dry Member.
  • 7.5% discount when 4 family members sign up to any Victorian membership at the same time.
  • 10% discount when 5 or more family members sign up to any Victorian membership at the same time. 

PART 2 - MANSFIELD SWIM CLUB FEES 2025/26 - Due mid December
Bronze (up to 2 hours per week) - TBC
Silver (up to 3 hours per week) - TBC
Gold (more than 3 hours per week - by invitation) - TBC

**All term time training sessions including coaching costs, lane hire and breakfast club (for morning swimmers).  Holiday squads may incur an additional cost.
**Eligible to enter any official Swimming Victoria meet (extra costs may apply)

DISCOUNTS
In addition to the Swimming Victoria discounts for family groups, the Mansfield Swim Club portion of your fees will attract the following reductions:
2 children - 5%
3 children - 10%
4 children - 25%

Training Times 
2025 / 26 squad training times are as follows:
Mon / Wed  - 6.30am - 8am / 7am - 8am (includes breakfast)
​Fri - 7am - 8am 
Tues / Thurs - 4pm - 5pm & 5pm - 6.30pm
Swimmers will be allocated to suitable squads according to ability, age and squad composition.

    Note - completing this form does not guarantee you a space in our squads.  We work hard to balance squad numbers to ensure that all swimmers receive maximum coaching benefit. As at May 2025, we have a waiting list.
