Mansfield Club Championships
The aim of the Club Championships is to bring the club together for a home event of racing, decide the male & female champion in each age group, to have a chance to break a club record and also to swim your preferred stroke in the best time you can. You will be awarded points for your placing in each event in your age group.
Ribbons and Championship trophies will be presented on Presentation Night.
All swimmers are encouraged to enter all swims. The age group entered is the age of the swimmer on 1st December of the current season. There is no cost to Club members to enter the Club Championships
Swimmers may enter their own age group and the Open age group as per Swimming Victoria rules. Points are awarded for all places in each event. These points are then added together to determine the Age Champion.
To be eligible for Club Champion points:
Swimmers must attend training a minimum of once a week for 75% of sessions over the 2024/2025 season. (eg 75% of 15 weeks of term time squad sessions) **this will not include January holiday sessions**
PLUS swimmers must attend at least one of the following: a Fast Friday, Pennant or external club competition. An exception will be made for multi-class club members.
This is a really fun event - one not to be missed.
